How to Root Samsung Galaxy Edge SM–G925I

How to Root Samsung Galaxy Edge SM – G925I Using CF Auto Root Complete Tutorial
- Download CF Auto Root package for Samsung Galaxy Edge SM–G925I and open the file.
- ( we will use SM-G920F package , use it your own risk , we have negative and positive user experience with it)
- Turn off the device and then press and hold Power + Volume down+Home buttons simultaneously for 3, 5 seconds.
- Connects Samsung Galaxy Edge and PC via USB cable.
- Run Samsung Odin android root tool as administrator.
- You will able to see ID: COM port is highlighted and “Added!!” text in Odin.
- Click “AP” and browse “CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925x.tar.md5” file.
- Click “Start” and wait a bit till installation completes.

I only find oc4 and oc6 how come you can get download for oc1 and oc5 for g925i
I tried this method on my galaxy s6 sm-g925i, and the device collapsed, now I am working triing to recovery the device. This method did not works for me, and damaged my device. I do not recomend this.
This method wrecked my devise and the device will no longer boot. It sticks on the first logo when you turn it on. Sporadically will enter the custom OS download menu but nearlly impossible to get it into that mode, as you cannot take the battery out to switch off the phone and the button to switch off the phone no longer works, Even after you press it in for 30 secs CAN ANYONE HELP????
leave ur battery to finish then let it charge completely . after that press power down and home and the power on button till it takes u too the download mode then flash the official firmware from sammobile
Hi Murtaza Love, coul you repair it? Try pressing vol up + vol down + home + power, then install on your pc SmartSwitch and try with emergency recovery by specifiying your model an serial number. Hope you help.

This bricked my phone, now stuck on boot logo.
DO NOT TRY THIS FOR G925I you will brick your phone. You will have to download whole IOS and install with ODIN
I would suggest be wise and read the file names correctly its “CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar.md5 ” which is not for G925I
